The US is not keeping up with the urgent demand for a clean energy transition.

We have the technology we need. With abundant private finance and massive federal laws like the Inflation Reduction Act, we have much of the money we need. What’s slowing the transition and holding back that money is that we don’t have the state level policies and programs to rapidly deploy these technologies.

State agencies face overwhelming demands to develop large, complex policies on shorter timeframes, without additional resources. And the slow, clunky way those policies have typically been implemented simply doesn’t scale to today’s demands.

EPDI is bringing a new approach to policy implementation with custom-designed tools that help policy staff implement more successful policies and programs much more quickly.

EPDI is transforming the way states implement our most crucial new energy policies from an arduous “legal battle” to a highly efficient design collaboration. Our first project with the state of Maryland has already shown tangible success in accelerating and improving the process.
